Friday night was a yearly special overnighter for the TnT (Truth and Training) Awana Girls at our church. Deirdre and I spent a very looonnnggg night and you can get the idea of some of the activities from the following pictures. It was fun but I came home needing a good nights sleep!
The above picture was 'princess dress up' and you can tell how much the girls enjoyed that.

Deirdre's 4th Grade California Mission Project
Over this Easter school break I am helping Deirdre with her 4th Grade California Mission Project. She not only has to write up a report on her mission...Mission San Antonio de Padua...but also make a model of the mission. No, it wasn't made from scratch but from a styrofoam kit that Michael's sells on each mission. It's been quite a project, though. Putting the pieces together with white glue, pins, etc. was not something Deirdre could do totally on her own so Grandma took on the supervision plus...All we have to do tomorrow is cover the grounds with dirt and greenery plus use the hot glue gun to make sure the buildings stay in place. To see the final picture I'm sure you will be able to check out France's blog in a day or so...that is if I don't take another picture and post it first.
